What is this job all about?

As the Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and producing dynamic motion visuals that elevate brand storytelling across platforms. You'll combine creative finesse with technical expertise to design high-quality animations and visual content that engage audiences. Working closely with creative directors, editors, designers, and clients, you’ll take charge of end-to-end motion design merging artistry, precision, and strategy.

Skills

Technical

  • Must have - 2D animation, kinetic typography, video compositing, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, storyboarding, explainer video creation, brand animation and frame-by-frame animation.
  • Good to have - 3D motion design (Cinema 4D, Blender), VFX basics and audio syncing.

Your job consists of

Creative Execution: Develop stunning motion graphics assets for a variety of content types brand films, explainers, product walkthroughs, campaign videos ensuring high visual quality and storytelling impact from concept to final render.
Concept Development: Participate in brainstorming and concepting sessions with the creative team, contributing ideas for visual storytelling, transitions, and animation styles that best fit the brief.
Storyboarding & Design: Translate scripts and concepts into detailed storyboards and design frames, ensuring visual coherence and alignment with brand identity.
Analytical Skills: Continuously assess the effectiveness of video strategies and production workflows by benchmarking against industry standards, analyzing project outcomes, and maintaining accurate inventory of tools and equipment to support timely and seamless execution of projects.
Motion Craftsmanship: Execute frame-perfect animations using techniques like character rigging, morphing, and particle effects, while maintaining smooth timing and engaging rhythm across scenes.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with art directors, copywriters, editors, and marketing teams to align visual design with narrative objectives and campaign goals.
Brand Consistency: Uphold and evolve visual brand guidelines through motion design, ensuring consistency across digital touch points.
Tool Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest motion design tools, plugins, and workflows to improve quality and efficiency in project delivery.
Feedback Integration: Receive feedback from creative Director and clients, iterate quickly, and refine animations with a growth mindset and a commitment to excellence.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a well-structured motion graphics library, templates, and project files for easy reusability and team collaboration. Quality Control: Conduct self-reviews and peer reviews to ensure animations are error-free, polished, and optimized for final delivery across platforms.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field.
